Pietro Fiscini is a guitarist (specialized in classical guitar), bassoonist, film music composer, conductor, teacher, arranger and concert performer.

Born on 14 August 2000 in Taranto, he approached music at the age of 13. In his family, his paternal grandfather (accordionist and writer, from whom he takes his name) will be an inspiration for him to approach music. Grandfather's desire was to live the path that he, his firstborn, lives now.

From the beginning he was always eclectic, in a hurry (thanks to his uncontrollable curiosity) to move forward at a not “ordinary” pace in musical practice.

Pietro began to play the guitar with a private teacher, the bassoon at high school, conducting and composing as a self-taught.

In adolescence he spent his afternoons doing ear training for “pure pleasure” on the electric guitar solos of his favorite rock/metal bands' songs. This allowed him to have a very good relative ear.

At just two months of learning he joined a guitar quintet, after a few rehearsals he was able to emulate the parts of his companions (which were far more complicated than his) without ever having read them. His ear was always attracted to what others played.

At 18 he composed 5 pieces for solo guitar, born from pure improvisation during the afternoons spent on the stairs leading to the terrace in his house.

At 22 he composed a bipartite and bithematic piece for solo guitar in one night after Sharon Farber's (a Grammy winner) request which he would also perform two days later during the first edition of the Guitar Oasis International Music Festival. The following week, he rearrenged the piece for strings and some wind instruments.

At 23 he transcribed the first movement of E. Elgar's String Serenade Op. 20 for solo guitar in just one week and learned it to play as the opening piece in one of his recitals in Brussels.

At the age of 24 he performed Histoire du Soldat by I. Stravinsky with the bassoon (his second instrument), after a few days he conducted some movements without any preparation during an exam at the conservatory.

Pietro is supportive, eclectic, transparent, pragmatic and sentimental.
His vocation? Communicate harmony.

He obtained his high school diploma at the "Archita-Andronico" Music High School in Taranto and his Bachelor Diploma in classical guitar at the "E. R. Duni" Conservatory of Matera (both with top marks) with M° Antonio Rugolo.

He is currently studying in Matera to finish the Master degree in classical guitar with M° Antonio Rugolo, he also follows the Bachelor course in bassoon with M° Giovanni Galasso.
